Join us in the MIT 24-Hour Challenge by contributing to the MIT Press Frank Urbanowski Memorial Fund!
The Urbanowski Fund was established in 2016 in memory of the late MIT Press Director Frank Urbanowski to support innovation in digital publishing as well as the accessible publication of high-quality, peer-reviewed, cutting-edge scholarly books. Donors to the fund of $500 or more will become Friends of the Press, entitling them to attend MIT Press’s singular invitation-only events and to receive a discount on all MIT Press book purchases. A contribution of any amount will earn our heartfelt gratitude.
For over 50 years, the MIT Press has been a leading light in academic publishing, and the only university press rooted at the intersection of science, technology, art, and design, like MIT itself. No other publisher is as committed to fostering trans-disciplinary inquiry, publishing iconic figures and provocative voices, producing beautifully designed books, and pushing the boundaries of digital innovation and open access.
How much innovation and access can we underwrite in 24 hours? The possibilities are limitless.
